Factory reset or Hard reset Definition
A factory reset is software reset (restore) of an electronic device to it default state. The factory reset also known as hard reset or master reset, include the process of erasing all the data, custom settings and information stored on the device (mobile phone, desktop, android smartphone).
In simple words by performing a hard reset you are making your phone’s software (operating system) to its original manufacturers settings. It also wipe out the cache partitions and make the hardware free from custom configurations. There are many benefits of formatting or factory reset, below are some of them:
